Please…NOT NOW! Not right now!

I just received a call from the hospital. I had my regular mammogram last Friday. Since I hadn’t heard anything all week, I figured I had good test results — like I always do. BUT, I was wrong. They have noticed a “small spot” in my right breast, and want me to come back in for further testing. Now…the waiting begins until I go back in.

Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is, “I have ‘The Big C’ — Cancer! And I am absolutely terrified. My anxiety is through the roof right now. This compared with my transitioning journey, combined with everything happening around the world with COVID-19…I’m just not sure how much more I can take.

I ask that everyone keep me in their thoughts — and remain hopeful that the “small spot” is nothing to be alarmed about. 😥😥😥
